and the author of hundreds of articles and numerous
books, including Planning Your Internet Marketing Strategy (John Wiley & Sons, 2002). Some of his now out-of-print books include The E-Mail Marketing Handbook, The Shopping Cart Report, Marketing a Local Business on the Internet, Article Marketing, and Guidebook to Search Engine Optimization -- more than a dozen in all.
Dr. Wilson has spoken widely in the US and abroad on Internet marketing and e-commerce. His one-day seminars, such as the Internet Marketing Best Practices Briefings (2001-2006), held on university campuses all over the US, trained thousands of marketers. An ordained minister, he serves as pastor of First Baptist Church of Nevada City and maintains an extensive Internet Bible study and Christian writing ministry, as well as authoring 29 books on Christianity and the Bible.
He plays the guitar and autoharp and sings, and admires bluegrass and Celtic fiddlers. He tries to play disc golf when he can. When there's time he enjoys woodworking, reading Civil War history, and walking in the woods. Dr. Wilson holds three earned academic degrees and lives with his wife on ten acres he calls "Wildwood" in Loomis, California, about 20 miles northeast of Sacramento.
