Bryan Eisenberg, conversion expert

The #1 Secret of Successful Businesses with Bryan Eisenberg (4:50)

Dr. Ralph F. Wilson , Web Marketing Today - May 4, 2010

In this video interview conversion expert Bryan Eisenberg speaks from his own passion about the importance of companies learning how to execute and get things done.

He shares a quote from Roy Williams that inspired him: "Anything worth doing is worth doing wrong!" The importance is in the doing, the regular activity of doing and getting things done.

Small businesses have a big advantage in their ability to act more quickly, rather than being mired in corporate politics. One of the reasons Amazon has been so successful is that have ingrained in their corporate culture the ability to respond quickly, with fewer layers needed for approvals. As a result, for example, they were able to respond within hours to news of Michael Jackson's death by featuring his recordings.

Execution is the result of a culture that rewards initiative, rather than fear of making a mistake. Act now, says Eisenberg, then correct a mistake later if necessary. There's a danger in a "Paralysis of Analysis" where nothing happens.

Bryan Eisenberg (www.bryaneisenberg.com) has written three best-selling books: Always Be Testing, Call to Action, and Waiting for Your Cat to Bark. Currently he's working on a book entitled, Cut the Fat. This interview was taped at the Search Engine Strategies Conference in Chicago in December 2009.
