Search marketing expert Brad Geddes of bg Theory (www.bgtheory.com) explains what Quality Score is in Google AdWords PPC marketing. Then he outlines the various components of the score, with suggestions to raise your score and lower your bid price. He touches on (1) click-through rate (CTR), (2) relevance of keyword to the ad copy, (3) geographic factors, and (4) landing page relevance. He notes that your Quality Score for the content network is different for the Quality Score for ads on Google search results. The interview was recorded at the PubCon Conference in Las Vegas, November 2008.
