Here are a few recent articles and resources I've found last week that might interest you. There were fewer than normal due to the 4th of July holiday in the US.
Barry Schwartz, Google Web Report: Average Page Size 320 KB, Search Engine Land, 12 July 2010. Google's stats show average webpage is 320 KB, including graphics. Suggests how to save HTTP requests.
Harry Gold, Optimizing Creative: Testing Benefits and Offers, ClickZ, 6 July 2010. Graph showing factors that cause action in a PPC ad: title, benefit, call to action, and URL. Suggests listing ways your product benefits your target audience, then test copy.
Aaron Kahlow, 7 Big Ideas All Marketers Must Grasp, ClickZ, 8 July 2010. Top 7 ideas for fall 2010 are (in reverse order) (7) prioritize social, (6) Is privacy overrated?, (5) mobile neophyte, (4) analytics death, (3) real-time search, (2) secret sauce, and (1) education. Author gives his own take on each.

Greg Sterling, There Are 75 Million US Adults On The Mobile Internet, More Than Half Of Them Daily, Search Engine Land, 8 July 2010. Cites statistics from a Pew Internet telephone study of 2,252 US adults on mobile activity and behavior. 82% of respondents owned a mobile phone, 38% to 40% go online from their handsets (75 million), but 65% for 18-29 year olds. 55% of mobile Internet users are online with mobile phones at least once a day, 43% several times a day. Barry Schwartz, Report: Click Fraud Rate For Q2 2010 28.9%, 7 July 2010. Cites Anchor Intelligence report for Q2. Click fraud in the US was 28.9% in Q2, down slightly from 29.2% in Q1.
