One of the chief complaints merchants have had with PayPal's ordering system was that a buyer had to become a PayPal member in order to make a purchase -- and that requirement stopped some sales. No longer. PayPal now gives US merchants the option not to require purchasers to set up PayPal accounts for most sales transactions (though this isn't quite ready for subscription, request money, or eBay sales). Buyers who desire to save their payment information with a password can still set up a PayPal account, however.
Immediate return to the merchant's site from PayPal after payment
Increased customization on payment pages
Closer merchant integration for shipping via USPS, similar to the current UPS integration. This still doesn't show buyers an estimate of shipping charges, however.
