Pricing depends on the client's requirements. As a guideline a Traffic Program that just tracks unique users has a set-up fee of £900. A Public Affiliate Program has a set up fee of £2900 (one-off), a monthly network access fee of £190. Pan-European clients enjoy a reduced set up fee based on the number of markets where they want to set up a program.

TradeDoubler manages the whole package, we just placed a banner at our site. TradeDoubler offers "stand alone" solutions. From the company point of view it means less workload.

Negatives:

The interface with our site is not as good as it should, i.e. it "stands alone" like a banner ad.

Generally I would think about the sense of an affiliate program, because the results are not good. We do not have many customers from that.

Other comments:

 A completely outsourced software handling incl. interface is basically not customer-friendly, i.e. affiliate programs needs a lot of contact between the company and the customer and could not work "alone". Self-explanatory affiliate programs are not "sexy" for the user...
