Strengths: How quick it is

Weaknesses: Our IT Dept does not support the software. Recently they changed server and as I'm not an IT person I was not advised and thought my e-mail wasn't working anymore. I had to send out 500+ e-mails via normal and without personalising them. Also as I am in Australia I am unable to get answers resolved on the spot because of the time difference.

Missing? Only a basic user. Will get more into it this year. Maybe a help wizard! A prompter with options.

Strengths: Email Unlimited's saving grace in my opinion is its ability to start from where it left off when a computer crashes--which has happened more than once. When accessed it asks if you want to continue sending. It also allows you to look at the list of email addresses both before and after it is sent so you can see if it was successfully completed.

Weaknesses: I've had repeated issues since using Email Unlimited w/ some organizations not allowing an email to go through because of its unrecognized format. This wasn't an issue with the previous e-mail merge program used. It also sometimes sends the e-mail as an attachment rather than as plain text--I think both of these are encoding issues of the program. I've been working w/ their help desk to try and resolve some of these issues so far unsuccessfully.

Strengths: It does it all it's easy to use and the customer service is beyond excellent. They have gone above and beyond and done special features and programming just for me.

Strengths: It has a fantastic Follow Up system my customers genuinely think we are writing to them individually and after they have joined our site we send them a personal automated 7 day follow up asking how things are going then 7 days before their membership expires we send an automated reminder by incorporating it into our business by use of an access database we are even able to handle reminders for various membership lengths namely 1 month 6 months and 12 months. We spent money on postcast and must say that whilst it initially seems a more intricate and superior product it fails miserably for functionality compared to EmailUnlimited it has no follow up responders and is far harder to setup in the first instance. I can't recommend Email unlimited enough it's interface is so simple that people often mistake this ease of use as a possible 'lacking of functions' this isn't the case. Big thumbs up ti John Vorwerk who incidentally is very helpful whenever you have questions regarding the product. We have now been using it since version 2 and will contiune to use it in the future.

Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet the latest version seems to have ironed out any small bugs as far as I can see.

Strengths: We were able to fairly easily paste in HTML customize the content with values from the database and send a professional looking email to over 1000 addressees.

Weaknesses: The navigation / menu structure of the program are somewhat unusual and non-obvious. However we were able to figure things out and accomplish our goals quickly.

Strengths: it adds info to a database very easily and if there is a change in the form it is easy to modify the form grabing scripts

Weaknesses: is that their isn't a pause button for the check and close option b/c you will open it and if it is checking the mail every 5 mins then you have to stop the scripts make your mods then turn it back on. and if you didn't turn it off it wil just check in the middle of what your doing then close then hide program if that option was checked.

Strengths: Ease of use. It's very easy to learn and very easy to use. The documentation pretty much guides you step by step through the whole process of preparing and sending a mailing.

Weaknesses: Stability. I've had many difficulties with the program from a stability standpoint - lists dissapearing unexplained error messages general quirky behavior. I've had to rely on their tech support staff almost every time I've used the program. I recently upgraded to the latest version (I think it's 3.05) and it appears to be better.

Strengths: It's simple to set up make changes and it's consistent. It' very flexible and allows me to send as plain text or HTML with or without attachments. The support has been excellent. I've been using the program for over 4 years and wouldn't be able to run The Daily Mentor with Email Unlimited !!!
