Strengths: 1) can specify size of batch I would like to send and I don't have to keep my browser open during the course of mailing. 2) easy importing of email addresses at one time 3) subscribers can view archives online. it is a snap to arcive newsletter (automatic). My subscribers can also search for information. 4) can handle multiple lists. 5) FREE

Weaknesses: still testing out. so far so good.

Missing? if it comes with autoresponder feature it would be great.

Strengths: It is FREE cgi based and hosted on my own server with automated subscribe / unsubscribe and it can handle larger lists. It is also simple to configure and install.

Weaknesses: Hane not come across anything which I find to be a problem yet. Although I have only been using the software for a few months.

Missing? Not sure how well it handles undelivered and bounced emails. This may be an area to be improved.
