Strengths: It was simple cheap reasonably powerful and was well-documented. Strongest feature is its ability to insert any field in a database into a template so that the e-mail is customized.

Weaknesses: It takes multiple steps to do a merge and this is somewhat time consuming. Unsubscribes and bounces are not handled by WorldMerge itself. A companion program handles these functions in a rudimentary manner but it is cumbersome to operate. Most frustrating aspect of using this software is keeping track of subscribes unsubscribes and bounces.

Missing? If they were able to integrate the subscription utilities this would be an excellent program.
