I've been exploring linking tools as a way to improve search engine ranking. In this issue you'll find reviews of two tools:

• LinkMaps from Bruce Clay. This approach of webpages that contain incoming links as spider fodder holds lots of promise for sites that already have a number of backlinks.
• Caphyon Advanced Link Manager 2.0. Here's a Java-based cross-platform link analysis tool that will help you plan and assess your linking campaign.
